Get Involved

Our philosophy is to encourage and assist all who enjoy land-based outdoor adventure activities to develop their skills and knowledge and accept responsibility for their own safety.

Two of the ways we do this is through our public training courses or specific training delivered to a particular organisation/group.

Our strong network of community volunteer instructors operate out of a local MSC branch, these can be found across the entire country, and offer training in many outdoor disciplines such as: Abseil, Alpine, Avalanche, Bushcraft, Firearm Safety, Outdoor First Aid, Outdoor Leadership, Risk Management and River Safety.
